Setting Temporary Limits on the Path to Moderation
I have a former client, her name is Amy*. Shortly after she completed her coaching program, Amy stood up in a women’s networking group that we were both a part of to give a testimonial of our work together. Amy said all sorts of positive things about her experience and how pleased she was with her results and then finished by stating: “The turning point for me was when Kimberly looked me right in the eyes and said, ‘Amy! On Showing Up...
Glennon Doyle Melton’s book Love Warrior has had a profound effect on me. It’s been a while since I’ve felt so emotionally moved by someone’s words. On the day of the photo session I’ve got all my outfit changes together, and I’m having a good hair day (phew!), and all is well. The make-up artist starts making me over, and then keeps making me over, a

You Can't Out-Exercise a Crap Diet (or Can You?)
Have you heard the phrase “you can’t out-exercise a crap diet”?? This is something I hear a lot, and I do agree with those words to a certain point... Most likely*, if you are over the age of 10, you cannot eat whatever you want, whenever you want without restraint and expect to meet your health and fitness goals through exercise alone. *There are always exceptions, right? Most people underestimate the amount of calories they consume and overestimate the amount of calories t
